Art has been my passion ever since I can remember. As a child, I spent my spare time drawing and painting, and doing art in any form. In those days, my family called me Nadi, as a short form for my name Renate. The nickname has stayed with me, and consequently I use it to sign my art. I enjoy painting flowers, as they are nature at its best. Nature is my greatest inspiration. I paint in oils, watercolors and acrylics. I started to paint in 1995, and have shown my work at several shows in my area around Ottawa, Ontario.

My motto: "Just let me paint, and I'll be happy!"
